Tara Minerals Corp. (Tara) is a public US-based growth-orientated resource company engaged in the search, acquisition, exploration and development of high-quality non-precious metals and minerals projects with potential for economic commercial value. Revenue is expected to be generated beginning Q3 2008 from the 100% owned Don Ramon and Lourdes property, a high grade, Zinc, Lead and Silver project. Tara is currently reviewing options for its other projects.

Tara Minerals was incorporated on May 12, 2006. Between December 2006 and February 2007 Tara Minerals raised $2,540,000 from the sale of 5,081,000 shares of its common stock to private investors. In January 2008 Tara Minerals issued 1,200,000 shares of its common stock valued at $600,000 to an unrelated third party for mining equipment. In April 2008 Tara Minerals sold 833,134 shares of its common stock for cash of $500,000 to unrelated third parties. 80% of the equity is currently owned by Tara Gold Resources Corp. (Other OTC: TRGD.PK, Frankfurt: T8N), a US based growth-orientated precious metals development and exploration company.

Currently Tara Minerals had a 100% interest in the Pilar de Mocoribo, Don Roman and Lourdes, and Las Nuvias mining properties. All of Tara Minerals’ properties are located approximately 25 kilometers from the town of Choix, Sinaloa State, Mexico.

Tara Mineral continues to actively pursue future growth opportunities by acquiring additional exploration, development and production assets. Tara Minerals is in a strong position to acquire additional opportunities due to its established office and relationships in Mexico. Tara Minerals is currently engaged in discussions with respect to such possible opportunities. There is no assurance that any potential transaction will be successfully completed.
