Mr. Francis R. Biscan Jr. - President, CEO and Director
For the last nine years, Mr. Biscan has worked with various public companies in the areas of business consulting, structuring, mergers and acquisitions and finance. He is currently the President and CEO of Tara Gold Resources Corp. He has also served as a Director for Latitude Minerals, a public mining company, and in numerous outside advisory roles. He has also served on the Board of Timothy Christian Schools.
Ms. Lynda R. Keeton-Cardno, CPA – CFO
Lynda is the founder of Lynda R. Keeton CPA, LLC, a firm that provides tax management, accounting and audit services. Lynda has a deep working knowledge of Tara Gold and Tara Minerals as she has been providing accounting services to the companies since 2007. Ms. Keeton-Cardno is a licensed certified public accountant in Nevada, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a graduate of Arizona State University’s School of Business and Honor College, and has held the Certified Information Systems Auditor designation. Since 2004, Ms. Keeton-Cardno has provided audit and consulting services to public companies through Lynda R. Keeton CPA, LLC, a PCAOB registered firm that works with both not-for-profit and for-profit companies to ensure internal controls and financial reporting. Prior to this, Ms. Keeton-Cardno worked in the Audit and Advisory group and the Technology Risk Consulting group for Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. David Barefoot - COO
David, as the Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for working closely with the CEO to build and manage the strengths of the company's team in the US and Mexico. David's initial focus will be to work closely with partners and contractors towards the development of Tara's near-term revenue generating projects. For over 26 years, Mr. Barefoot has built or assisted in the turnaround of companies in multiple industries. His strengths include leadership, developing vision, team building, and consistent execution, which have produced a history of short term profitability and long term stability.
Mr. Clifford A. Brown, CPA – Director, Controller for US Operations
Mr. Brown graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1980 with a B.S. in Accountancy and passed the Illinois Certified Public Accounts' exam in 1981. He worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago until 1983 when he left public accounting and became the Controller for two successive private businesses. In 1989, Mr. Brown started his own accounting software sales and consulting company, Clifford A. Brown and Co., a Certified Microsoft Partner, in which he continues as President. Mr. Brown has served as the Treasurer and Board Member of Restoration Ministries, Inc. for the past 10 years, where he has played a role in increasing revenues from $150,000 in 1993 to $1,380,000 in 2003. Mr. Brown also serves as the Winfield Township Clerk and the Vice-Chairman of his local political party.
Ramiro Trevizo Ledezma - Director
Since 2005, Ramiro Trevizo has been the President and Sole Administrator of Corporacion Amermin, Tara Gold's 100% owned Mexican subsidiary. From 2003 to 2005, he was the President and Sole Administrator for Grupo Constructor del Desierto, S.A. de C.V., an engineering company. He was responsible for all state and national level bid proposals and project supervision. From 2002 to 2004, Ramiro was the Regional Manager for D&B Engineering, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to this, he was a Project Manager with OSP Consultants in California. Ramiro is fluent in English and Spanish.
Robert Wheatley - President, CEO and Director of Adit Resources Corp.
Robert is a geological engineer with over 35 years of diversiSed mineral exploration, business development, and mine development experience in twenty-one countries working primarily with gold, silver, copper, and molybdenum. Most recently, Robert was the Director of Exploration, for North and Central America, with Yamana Gold Inc. He was responsible for the planning and execution of the initial underground exploration at El Peñon, Chile, which has now produced over 2.5 million gold ounces.
