The Pilar de Mocoribo prospect was acquired from an unrelated third party. The Pilar De Mocoribo Groupings are located 25 km NE of El Fuerte, Sinaloa State, Mexico.

The Pilar de Mocoribo prospect is 1,548 hectares in size. Preliminary evaluation of the property has identified a series of parallel NE trending lead/zinc mineralized structures that can be traced for more than 300 meters. These mineralized structures lie within a complex suite of volcanic-granitic and sedimentary (carbonate) rocks. Tara Minerals considers this project as high priority and is considering options to aggressively advance the project.
